POST-PRODUCTION
Immediately after the production phase is the post-production phase, where the editing of the job is carried out. The post-production phase involves:
-
Analyzing all the footage that's been shot;
-
Selecting the best parts;
-
Syncing the footage with the soundtrack;
-
Creating a solid structure to the story that produces maximum impact;
-
Assembling the footage;
-
The addition of carefully selected music and sound effects;
-
Colour correction.
Then the first rough cut is sent to you, and this takes a couple of back and forth to implement the feedback.
